Today at the Plečnik promenade, the exhibition area of the Tivoli Park in Ljubljana, an Exhibition of photographs titled "Nature connects us - Parks Dinarides" was opened. The host of the events was the Nature Park Tivoli, Rožnik and Šišenski hrib, and the exhibition was prepared in cooperation with the Parks Dinarides - a network of protected areas of Dinarides.
The exhibition aims to promote protected areas within the network of Parks of Dinarides and protected areas, which are members of the Community Parks of Slovenia.
At the most beautiful location in Ljubljana, 120 large-size panels were exhibited in Tivoli Park, where photographs from 58 protected areas, members of the Association of Parks Dinarides and photographs of members of the Community Parks Association of Slovenia were gathered, which brings together 14 managers of protected areas of Slovenia.
The photographs present the natural and cultural heritage of protected areas, and the benefits of protecting these areas for the local population and people living in the wider region.
In addition to the Park Tivoli and the Parks Dinarides, the City of Ljubljana, Public Power Company - Snaga, which manages the Nature Park Tivoli, Rožnik and Šišenski hrib and WWF Adria, participated in the exhibition organization.
The exhibition will be open until January 2019.
